Google classroom
As the world becomes more technologically able, soon each student will be issued with Chrome Books. All departments in Portree High School have begun using Google Classroom which is a fantastic educational tool to connect students and teachers online.
Teachers have been posting PowerPoints, materials used in class, links to websites, assessment dates, listening exercises and homework assignments.
If students are absent from school this is a brilliant way to keep them current with the lessons missed and ensure that they do not fall behind.
How to sign in?
1. Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In.
2. All students should have a log in which is Firstname.Lastname@portreehigh.org.uk
3. Enter your password. All students should have changed their password and have a note of it in their diary.
Students should be checking this regularly for updates from their teachers.
